About the role

The Field Operator (Trades Assistant Facilities) plays a hands-on role in maintaining and improving Council's diverse range of buildings and community facilities.



Working as part of the Facilities team, theposition undertakes a variety of general building maintenance and minor construction activities,including painting, carpentry assistance, basic plumbing maintenance, repairs and other practicalworks.

This is a varied role working across Council facilities throughout the Clarence Valley and is ideally suitedto someone who enjoys practical work, working as part of a team and taking pride in delivering qualityoutcomes for the community.

If you have experience in building maintenance, minor carpentry, painting, construction or a similarhands-on role, and hold a MR licence and White Card, we encourage you to review the PositionDescription and submit an application addressing the selection criteria and uploading requiredsupporting documents.
