About the Role

n

You'll manage a portfolio of privately owned businesses,



taking responsibility for their accounting and taxation requirements while becoming increasingly involved in their broader commercial needs.

n

The role combines compliance with tax planning, management reporting, forecasting, structuring and Business Advisory, giving you the opportunity to become a genuine trusted adviser to your clients.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
n
- Managing tax planning and ongoing compliance requirements
n
- Working across companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
n
- Preparing management reports and analysing business performance
n
- Assisting clients with forecasting, structuring and strategic decisions
n
- Building strong relationships with business owners
n
- Managing your own portfolio, workflow and deadlines
n
- Reviewing and mentoring junior accountants
n
- Identifying opportunities to add value beyond traditional compliance
n

About You

n

You will have:

n

n
- 5+ years' Australian public practice experience
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and Business Services
n
- Experience managing both compliance and client advisory work
n
- Experience across companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
n
- Strong exposure to privately owned businesses and SME clients
n
- CA/CPA qualification completed or in progress
n
- Xero and cloud accounting experience
n
- Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Experience reviewing or mentoring junior accountants
n
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
n
- A genuine interest in Business Advisory and helping clients grow
