Job Description

We're looking for a driven, organised and customer-focused person to join our team in a current Admin Support & Parts Assistant role, supporting our business specialising in engineering and sheetmetal machinery sales. This is a varied, hands-on position that combines Parts & Accessories sales, customer service, inventory support and general administration/accounts assistance. You will work closely with our Sales, Operations and Administration teams, supporting the day-to-day running of our Parts & Accessories function. A key part of the role will be learning and assisting with our parts and accessory sales, processing customer orders and providing support when senior Parts staff are away.

Key responsibilities

n

Assist with day-to-day Parts & Accessories sales and customer enquiries.

n

Provide friendly and professional customer service by phone, email and in person.

n

Assist with counter sales, including identifying parts and accessories and processing customer purchases.

n

Process and manage website orders, including checking orders, stock availability, customer details and dispatch requirements.

n

Enter and process parts orders accurately through our business systems.

n

Liaise with customers, suppliers, Sales and Operations teams to follow up orders and enquiries.

n

Provide support and coverage for the Parts team, particularly when senior staff are away.

Provide general administration and operational support to the team.

n

Assist Admin/Accounts staff with simple daily tasks, including data entry, filing, document preparation and maintaining records.

Assist with basic invoicing and order processing.

About you

n

Good knowledge of Microsoft Software packages including word, excel.

n

Strong interpersonal skills and a want to be a member of a team.

n

Commitment to a zero-harm safety culture.

n

Valid Driver's License.

n

Experience in an industrial, manufacturing environment (Preferred but not essential).

n

Experience in inventory parts support (Preferred but not essential).

n

Knowledge of SAP Business one package (Preferred but not essential).
