Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club is seeking an experienced Business Technology Analyst to support the analysis, optimisation and continuous improvement of the organisation's business processes, information systems and technology solutions.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Engage with business stakeholders and relevant technology teams to identify, analyse and document business requirements, operational issues and opportunities for improvement across business processes and systems.
n
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and process reviews to investigate business needs and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements for technology solutions.
n
- Analyse existing business processes, workflows, information flows and system functionality to identify inefficiencies, risks, gaps and opportunities for process and system improvement.
n
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, system requirements, process documentation and technical documentation for ICT development teams and external technology providers.
n
- Evaluate existing and proposed technology systems, integrations, automation solutions and system enhancements against identified business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
n
- Analyse data requirements and information flows across business systems, working with business and technology stakeholders to improve data quality, consistency, accessibility and reporting capabilities.
n
- Support the development, enhancement and optimisation of business intelligence reports, dashboards and analytical solutions using platforms such as Qlik, Power BI or similar technologies.
n
- Identify and assess opportunities for automation, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies,



evaluating their potential business benefits, risks and alignment with organisational requirements.
n
- Assist with the implementation, configuration, testing and validation of technology system enhancements to ensure that implemented solutions satisfy documented business and functional requirements.
n
- Support change management, user adoption, system documentation and knowledge transfer associated with the implementation and continuous improvement of business technology systems and processes.

Desired Skills And Experience

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related field.
n
- Demonstrated experience in a business or systems analysis role within an IT or operational environment.
n
- Experience of working with enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HR, Finance, POS, or membership management).
n
- Experience in hospitality, club, or service-based environments is desirable.
n
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Qualification
n
- Responsible Conduct of Gaming Qualification
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
n
- High attention to detail with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
n
- Solid understanding of system integration, data flow, and process improvement methodologies.
n
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., process mapping, requirements documentation, workflow design).
n
- Understanding of data reporting tools and database concepts (e.g., SQL, Power BI, etc.).
n
- Previous hospitality experience desirable but not essential
