Grounds & Property Maintenance

About the Role

n

The role involves a variety of grounds and property maintenance tasks, including:

n

- General grounds maintenance and garden care.
n
- Lawn mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, and weed control.
n
- Applying horticultural knowledge to maintain healthy gardens and landscapes.
n
- Operating and maintaining a range of commercial outdoor power equipment and machinery.
n




- Cleaning gutters using a vaccum suction unit and carrying out work at heights safely.
n
- Travelling to various work sites, including occasional overnight stays.
n

What We're Looking For

n

The successful applicant will:

n

n
- Have experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture.
n
- Possess sound horticultural knowledge.
n
- Be physically fit and capable of manual labour.
n
- Be reliable, punctual, honest, and trustworthy.
n
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
n
- Be confident using outdoor machinery and willing to learn the maintenance and servicing requirements of equipment.
n
- Be comfortable working at heights for gutter cleaning and similar tasks.
n
- Be willing to travel and stay away overnight when required.
n
- Hold a current driver's licence
n
- Be willing to undergo and successfully obtain a National Police Check, as our work sites are government facilities where a current police clearance is a requirement.
n
