Are you an experienced embedded firmware engineer who enjoys taking products to production?
We're partnering with a well-established Australian technology company that has built a robust reputation for designing and delivering innovative connected products.
Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their Sydney-based engineering team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and architecture through development, testing, manufacturing, and ongoing product support.
You'll work on up-to-date embedded systems, IoT-connected devices, and next-generation products that make a real impact.
What we're looking for:
8+ years' commercial experience developing embedded firmware
Proven experience delivering embedded products from concept through to production
Robust embedded C/C++ programming skills
Experience developing low-level drivers and embedded communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)
Experience rapidly developing prototypes and MVPs using Arduino




Experience working with 32-bit microcontrollers including STM32, PIC32 or ESP32
Experience with IoT connectivity technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular communications

Desirable skills:
Experience developing firmware within RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS
Experience creating embedded graphical user interfaces using tools such as LVGL, MGS or TouchGFX
Experience developing firmware for system-level and PCBA production test systems
Exposure to desktop or mobile software development (iOS, Android or Windows)
