Are you an experienced Accounts Officer looking for your next temporary opportunity? Brunel is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented professional to join our team and provide temporary support to our Finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative and fast-paced organisation, where you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

About the Role

As the Temporary Accounts Officer, you will provide support across a range of finance and accounts functions. You will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Managing invoices, purchase orders and payments
- Assisting with account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Responding to internal and external accounts queries
- Assisting with expense management and general finance administration
- Supporting the Finance team with month-end activities
- Data entry and maintaining information within internal finance systems




- Providing general administrative support to the Finance team as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience working as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer or similar
- Strong accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Robust organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems
- A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
