We are seeking a skilled and talented Site Labourer/Operator to be a key part of a growing environmental remediation business within an established civil construction company, focusing on contaminated sites & property development projects throughout Victoria.

n

You will be a hands‐on labourer and operator working on various petrochemical & related industry projects across a broad range of sites working with various operators, labourers, consultants & pre-qualified sub-contractors.

n

Project types include demolition of fuel storage facilities, soil remediation, groundwater remediation infrastructure, soil treatment plant & civil construction.

n

About You:

n

The ideal applicant will have a trade background, and while not essential, some experience in the installation &/or removal of product storage & handling facilities, demolition of commercial buildings/canopies & soil treatment & remediation techniques would be preferred.

n

You will have strong commitment to & working knowledge of OHSE systems/processes & promote a strong culture.

n

Duties & Responsibilities:

n

- Operating various plant and equipment such as excavators, loaders,



skidsteer/positrack loaders
n
- Construction of groundwater and soil treatment systems, ideally utilising your electrical, plumbing and general construction experience
n
- Involvement in developing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure secure delivery of projects
n
- Site administrative tasks such as daily site diaries, machine maintenance logs and toolbox talk entries
n
- Participate in various site, management & client meetings
n
- Co-ordinate service & maintenance of plant & equipment
n

Prerequisites:

n

n
- Demonstrated knowledge & commitment to safety
n
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a general site labourer and/or operator
n
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, and a positive team-player attitude
n
- Hold tickets and experience in operating excavators, loaders, skidsteer/positrack loaders
n
- Excellent relationship & communication skills
n
