We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trade Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our tradespeople and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Trade Assistant will work across all industries and will be required to have a solid work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Assist tradespeople with various tasks including but not limited to, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
Operate and maintain tools and equipment
Ensure that all work areas are clean and tidy
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Communicate effectively with tradespeople and other team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well in a team workplace
Valuable time management skills
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
