The Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is seeking a motivated apprentice to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade with a well-established manufacturing business in Melbourne's south-east.

n

This apprenticeship will provide hands-on training and experience in welding, fabrication and metalwork while working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive workshop environment.

Duties May Include

n

- Welding and fabrication activities
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
n
- Operating welding equipment and power tools
n
- Using measuring equipment and fabrication machinery
n
- Folding, bending and shaping metal components
n




- Assembling and finishing fabricated products
n
- Maintaining a safe and organised workspace
n

About You

n

- Genuine interest in welding, fabrication and manufacturing
n
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
- Good attention to detail
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Completion of Year 10 or equivalent
n
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights
n
