We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The School

Established in 1986, Ashburton Drive Primary School (PS) is located in the south eastern metropolitan suburb of Gosnells. The school is built on old farming land and is next door to an abundant wetlands. The current student enrolment is around 420 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role

We are actively seeking primary teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ability to communicate effectively and build genuine, respectful relationships with students, families, colleagues and community partners. Applicants should be committed to our Connected Community School model and understand the strong connection between student wellbeing, engagement and achievement. They should be proactive in identifying student needs, working collaboratively with families and support services, and contributing to the school’s role as a trusted community hub.

Suitable applicants will establish positive, inclusive classroom environments characterised by high expectations, a growth mindset and a strong focus on students’ social and emotional development. They should demonstrate the capacity to plan, deliver and assess challenging and engaging learning programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum. This includes effectively differentiating teaching to meet a diverse range of learning needs and abilities, including within multi-age and split-year classes.
