You're commercially minded and operationally sharp with the ability to balance big-picture strategy and attention to detail. You're equally comfortable interpreting a financial report, negotiating with a retailer, and walking the centre floor. Just as importantly, you know how to build the retailer relationships that make a centre thrive.

What would your day-to-day look like?

n

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you'll be a senior member of the management team responsible for the ongoing management of Centre retailers and key financial outcomes.

n

You'll manage critical retailers, drive the Centre's Business Plan and Retail KPIs, prepare key financial and centre reports, and take a lead role in customer-facing capital projects ensuring the Centre performs, presents and trades to the highest standard every day.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Managing critical retailers, including debt, lease administration, abatements and exit or assistance strategies
n
- Driving retail outcomes and KPIs in line with the agreed Business Plan
n
- Preparing and maintaining key centre and financial reports — sales forecasts, turnover rent, debt and monthly management reporting
n
- Contributing to the operational leasing process and driving critical retailer reviews
n
- Taking a lead role in customer-facing capital works and tenancy delivery projects
n




- Building strong relationships with key retailers to stay ahead of market conditions and trends
n
- Overseeing presentation and maintenance standards through daily inspections and centre walks
n
- Managing the Customer Service team and supporting the broader team, including Marketing
n
- Contributing to community engagement initiatives and representing the Centre where required
n

Are you someone with?

n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Centre Management, ideally as a Retail Manager, Operations Manager, or Centre Manager of a smaller asset
n
- A strong understanding of the retail industry and sector
n
- Solid financial acumen and confidence with budgets, forecasting and reporting
n
- Proven leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management skills
n
- Strong written and verbal communication, including confident presentation skills
n
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
n
- Proficiency in core Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
n

Bonus points for:

- In-depth knowledge of the Retail Leases Act
n
- Experience managing critical retailers, debt and lease administration
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Property or a related discipline
n
- Experience leading customer-facing capital works or tenancy delivery projects
