Role Description

Heathcote Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our team. This is an excellent prospect to contribute to high-quality, person-centred care and to support a positive environment for residents, families and staff.

As an Enrolled Nurse at Heathcote Health, you will provide safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to residents while supporting the overall quality and performance of the RACU. Working under the delegation of the Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessment, observation, care planning and communication, ensuring residents receive holistic, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with best practice
n
- Support optimal care quality and contribute to the smooth operational performance of the RACU
n
- Assist with policy and procedure development and review
n
- Align practice with the organisation's Strategic and Business Plans, and relevant government strategies
n
- Facilitate exceptional care through assessment, observation and evaluation of residents
n
- Provide care that is holistic, respectful, and person-centred
n
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and guidelines, applying them to practice
n
- Implement clinical interventions as delegated by the RN and justify practice using evidence-based principles
n
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to support coordinated care
n




- Build and maintain strong communication with residents and their families to support care planning and delivery
n
- Practice according to ANCI professional codes and standards as they apply to Enrolled Nurses
n
- Administer medications in accordance with the Drugs and Poisons Act (
n
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including mandatory annual training
n
- Complete annual medication competency assessment
n
- Participate in the annual performance review and development process
n

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
n
- Endorsement for medication administration
n
- A commitment to person-centred care and evidence-based practice
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- Ability to work all shifts, including nights and weekends
n
