Job Description

We are seeking a Barista All Rounder to join our team at Jamaica Blue Cranbourne Park. This is a casual position based in Cranbourne VIC 3977. As a Barista All Rounder, you will be the friendly face behind our counter, delivering exceptional customer service whilst crafting quality beverages and preparing food items. This role is fundamental to creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every customer leaves with a great experience. You'll work flexible schedule that suit your lifestyle whilst being part of a dynamic hospitality team.

What you'll be doing

n

- Preparing and serving high-quality espresso-based beverages and other hot and cold drinks
n
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, both in-store and potentially via digital channels
n
- Running food or beverage to tables when possible, helping dishes and general cafe cleaning
n
- Preparing food items, including toasted items, cakes and pastries, ensuring food safety standards are met
n
- Processing transactions using the point-of-sale system accurately and securely
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic work setting throughout your shift
n
- Delivering friendly, professional and engaging customer service to all patrons
n
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
n
- Restocking supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the day
n
- Following health, safety and food handling procedures at all times
n

What we're looking for

- Previous barista experience or coffee-making knowledge, with the ability to craft consistent, quality beverages
n
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional experiences
n




- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm during busy periods
n
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour
n
- Basic food handling knowledge and understanding of hygiene standards
n
- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work casual hours including weekends
n
- Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively
n
- Attention to detail when preparing beverages and food items
n
- Desirable: Certificate III in Hospitality, Food Handling Certificate or equivalent training
n
- Desirable: Previous experience in a café, restaurant or hospitality venue
