We are seeking a skilled Electro Mechanical Technician to join us at Breakaway Group in Truganina, Victoria. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a tradesperson with experience in motor rewinding, armature winding, and industrial electrical systems, who is committed to safety, precision, and high-quality workmanship.

As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will:

n

n
- Disassemble, rewind, refurbish, and reassemble motors, generators, and electrical equipment
n
- Conduct fault-finding, testing, and preventative maintenance on motors, pumps, and related equipment.
n
- Work on medium-sized industrial projects, including automation, control wiring, instrumentation, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
n
- Ensure all work complies with WHS, JSA, SWMS, and SOP standards.
n
- Provide qualified, customer-facing service where required.
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology or A-Class Electrical Trade Qualification
n
- Experience in industrial electrical environments
n
- Familiarity with PLCs, automation,



control wiring, instrumentation
n
- Experience with pumps, motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
n
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and customer service focus
n
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
n
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and career development.
n
- Relevant licencing and permits (driver's license, COVID-19, CPR/LVR, White Card, high-risk licenses)
n

The successful candidate must be willing to undertake:
