The opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter working from our Wollert facility on night shift. This role offers immediate start and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, supportive crew.

Location: Wollert, Victoria.

Shift hours: 8pm-4am Monday to Friday night shift.

Permanent full-time position.

What you’ll be doing

Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on fixed plant equipment.

Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical faults across crushing,



screening and conveying systems.

Repair and replace bearings, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic components and other mechanical equipment.

Support shutdown maintenance activities and major plant overhauls.

Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with site procedures.

What you’ll need

Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent mechanical trade.

Current White Card and Driver's License.

Forklift, Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (desirable or willing to obtain).

About you

Experience maintaining fixed plant equipment within quarrying, mining, manufacturing, or other heavy industrial environments.

Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting skills along with a strong focus on safety.

All candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol screening as part of the recruitment process.
