The Chance

Joinawell-establishedAustralianresidentialconstructioncompanywithover15yearsofindustryexperiencedeliveringhigh-qualitycustomhomes,duplexes,townhouses,andresidentialdevelopments.ThisisanexcellentopportunityforanexperiencedArchitecturalDraftspersontoworkondiversebuildingprojectswithinacollaborativeandsupportiveteamenvironment.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillpreparedetailedarchitecturaldrawings,assistwithprojectdocumentation,andworkcloselywithdesignandconstructionprofessionalstodeliverprojectsthatmeetAustralianbuilding

Key Responsibilities

- Preparedetailedarchitecturaldrawingsincludingfloorplans,elevations,sections,andconstructiondetails
- ConvertdesignconceptsintoaccuratetechnicaldocumentationusingAutoCAD,Revit,orsimilarCADsoftware
- AssistwithDevelopmentApplication(DA)andConstructionDocumentation(CD)preparation
- EnsuredrawingscomplywiththeNationalConstructionCode(NCC)andrelevantAustralianStandards
- Coordinatewitharchitects,engineers,consultants,andconstructionteamsthroughoutprojectdelivery
- Reviseandupdatedrawingsinresponsetodesignchangesandprojectrequirements
- Conductsitemeasurementswhererequiredandincorporatefindingsintoprojectdocumentation
- Maintaindrawingregistersanddocumentcontrolthroughouteachproject
- Supporttimelyprojectdeliverywhilemaintaininghighdraftingstandards
- Identifyandresolvedraftinganddesignissuesefficiently

Requirements & Eligibility

- QualificationinArchitecturalDrafting,BuildingDesign,Architecture,orarelateddiscipline
- PreviousexperienceasanArchitecturalDraftspersonisessential
- ProficiencyinAutoCAD,Revit,orequivalentdraftingsoftware
- KnowledgeofAustralianbuildingcodesandconstructionpractices,orwillingnesstolearn
- Excellentattentiontodetailandorganisationalskills
- Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelywithinateam

- Strongcommunicationandproblem-solvingskills
- AbilitytomeetAustralianvisa,skillsassessment,andEnglishlanguagerequirementswhereapplicable
- CandidatescurrentlyinAustraliaonavalidvisaareencouragedtoapply
