Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland organisation to recruit a Senior Data Engineer for an initial 12-month contract+ potential to extend.

n

You'll join an established enterprise data team responsible for a modern Databricks Lakehouse platform supporting reporting, analytics and data driven decision making across the organisation.

n

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable data pipelines, curated data assets and reusable engineering solutions across a complex enterprise environment.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Develop data ingestion, transformation and orchestration solutions using Databricks
n
- Build curated data assets for reporting and analytics
n
- Develop and optimise SQL, Python and PySpark solutions
n
- Contribute to reusable engineering frameworks and patterns
n
- Support CI/CD, automated deployments,



testing and code management
n
- Work across enterprise data sources and project driven requirements
n

n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 5 plus years Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or Analytics Engineering experience
n
- 3 plus years hands on Databricks experience
n
- Strong SQL, Python and PySpark
n
- Cloud based data pipeline and orchestration experience
n
- Data modelling and curated data asset delivery
n
- CI/CD and source control experience
n
- AWS experience highly regarded
n
- Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, Databricks Workflows or Asset Bundles highly regarded
n
- Fivetran or similar integration tooling highly regarded
n

This is a strong chance for an experienced Databricks engineer looking for a long-term contract within an established enterprise data environment.
