We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Empty Container Forklift Operator to join our Melbourne Depot inBrooklyn.

Qualifications & experience

n

n
- Minimum 12months experience handling empty shipping containers with the ability to operate a twinpick forklift efficiently and effectively. Ability to learn and use the self-mounted tablet inside fork for operations.
n
- Strong proven skills and experience, Strong attention to detail.
n
- Must be physically fit.
n
- Immediate start preferrable
n
- Valid Police check preferrable
n
- Must complete the company provided pre-employment medical
n

Tasks & responsibilities

- Safe unloading & Loading containers from trucks
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate twin pick container handlers of different brands
n
- Willing to work ongoing dayshift or night shift per company requirements
n
- Be confident to work unsupervised
n
- Be able to work at a rapid pace environment while meeting all OH&S; regulations
n
- Be Fit and Healthy
n
- Hard work ethic and strong safety focus
n
- Abilityto work in a past paced depot loading/unloadingtrucks in safe manner.
n
- Safe and effective container stacking ability
n
