About the Role

n

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital leadership role in delivering high-quality clinical care while promoting dignity, independence and quality of life for every resident.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Delivering safe, evidence-based, person-centred nursing care
n
- Leading and supporting Team Leaders, Physiotherapy Aides and Personal Care Workers
n
- Coordinating clinical assessments, care planning and medication management
n
- Responding confidently to clinical emergencies
n




- Supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Care Manager in achieving best practice standards
n
- Acting as Senior First Aid Officer and Chief Fire Warden while on duty
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
n
- Promoting a positive culture of respect, safety and continuous improvement
n

About You

n

Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering exceptional care?

n

To be successful, you will need:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Minimum one year's post-registration nursing experience
n
- Current CPR Certificate
n
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Sound clinical knowledge and assessment skills
n
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills
n
- A genuine commitment to resident-centred care
n
- Competent computer and clinical documentation skills
n

n

Desirable

n

n
- Previous Residential Aged Care experience
n
- Postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care or a related discipline
n
- Knowledge of the AN-ACC funding model
n
