Machine Operator-Manufacturing- Engineering-Saw Cutting

EJ Hadaway is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our specialized manufacturing team in Dandenong South. This role suits a hands‐on trades or engineering‐minded operator who enjoys running machines end‐to‐end and taking ownership of quality output. This is a long‐term, permanent position in a secure, Australian family‐owned business.

Key responsibilities

n

Set up and operate Band saw cutting machines, grinding bolts, Centre drilling, c‐press operation

n

Run jobs from start to finish, including setup, operation, and basic checks

n

Produce precision components to drawing and specification

n

Monitor quality and make adjustments as required

n

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‐focused workspace

n

About you

n

Previous experience operating industrial or engineering machinery

n

Minimum 2+ years of industrial or engineering machinery operating experience required

n

Ability to work independently and problem‐solve on machines

n

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

n

Reliable, punctual,



and consistent work ethic

n

Strong safety awareness

n

Australian work rights are required for this position

n

Engineering or mechanical background highly regarded

n

Ability to read basic drawings or specifications highly regarded
