About the Role

n

We are seeking a reliable, proactive and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join the MannaCare residential maintenance team on a casual basis, with the potential for the role to transition to a permanent position.

n

Reporting to the Assets and Facility Manager, you will support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, grounds, equipment and infrastructure, ensuring a safe, comfortable and well-presented workplace for residents, staff and visitors.

n

The role will involve responding to maintenance requests, carrying out routine inspections and repairs, supporting scheduled and essential services maintenance, and coordinating with external contractors when required.

About You

n

To succeed in this role, you will have:

n

n




- A relevant trade qualification or more than 5 years' experience in commercial or aged care facility maintenance
n
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
n
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Strong problem-solving, communication and time management skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Basic computer skills
n
- Current NDIS Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
n
