Job Description

Momentum Property is looking for an organised and reliable Accounts Officer to join our team on a part-time basis.

Working closely with our Head of Accounts, you'll support the day-to-day financial operations of the business across our multiple entities and offices.

n

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail and takes pride in keeping things organised and accurate.

About the Role

n

This is a varied role providing support across our finance and accounts functions, including trust accounting, reconciliations, invoicing and general accounts administration.

n

The position is Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 2:30pm, with flexibility to work additional hours when required.

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

Managing the Accounts inbox and day-to-day accounts enquiries

n

Processing invoices, creditors and payments through Xero

n

Trust receipting and assisting with trust account reconciliations

n

Processing marketing contributions and property-related expenses

n

Reviewing settlement information and following up outstanding documentation

n





Providing general accounts and finance support to the Head of Accounts

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

Has previous accounts, bookkeeping or finance administration experience

n

Has strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

n

Is organised, reliable and comfortable managing their own workload

n

Has positive communication skills and is confident following up information when required

n

Experience with Xero will be highly regarded. Previous real estate or trust accounting experience would be an advantage.
