Key responsibilities

- Oversee and assist with daily farm operations, including feeding, health monitoring and egg collection
n
- Manage, supervise and train farm staff, ensuring adherence to safety and biosecurity protocols and best practices
n
- Monitor egg production, quality, and inventory levels
n
- Ensure the well‐being of our hens by implementing proper housing, feeding, and healthcare practices
n
- Oversee and assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and facilities to ensure a protected and efficient working setting
n
- Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, incidents or issues
n
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety, environmental, and animal welfare standards
n
- Coordinate your team's shifts and on high risk days ensure the birds are kept cool and all systems are working well
n

About you

n

n
- Previous experience in egg or poultry farming is preferred with strong knowledge of poultry health
n




- Experience with an aviary system will be highly regarded
n
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem‐solving skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
n
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
n
- An unfaltering commitment to biosecurity protocols
n
- Familiarity with egg production processes, animal husbandry, and farm equipment
n
