Mount Lilydale Mercy College is seeking passionate and career-minded Learning Support Officers to join our exceptional Learning Diversity Team.

n

In 2026, our Learning Support Officer Team was named a Victorian finalist in the Australian Teacher Aide of the Year Awards — recognition of the professionalism, commitment and impact of our team.

We are looking for people who see Learning Support as a career in education, not simply a temporary role.

You will work alongside teachers and leaders to help students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and develop independence. Your work will include:

- Targeted literacy and numeracy support
n
- Intervention programs and individual learning strategies
n
- Classroom support across English, Mathematics and Science
n
- Building student organisation, confidence and independence
n
- Collaborating with teachers and leaders to support diverse learners
n

n

What you'll bring

- Relevant qualifications and/or significant experience
n
- Initiative, discretion and sound professional judgement
n
- A genuine commitment to inclusive education
n
- Solid collaboration and communication skills
n
- A desire to develop your skills and build a career in Learning Support

Full-time is preferred, however part-time arrangements will be considered for the right applicants.
