Job Description

Leeton District Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join its maternity team on a contract basis for 6 to 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive birthing environment in regional NSW, bringing your clinical expertise and experience to a dedicated maternity service. The role offers flexibility and the chance to make a real difference in the care of mothers and newborns during a critical time.

- Hands-on birthing experience in a regional hospital setting

- Work alongside a committed maternity team in a supportive clinical environment

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
n
- Demonstrated experience in birthing and labour care
n




- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary maternity team
n
- Solid clinical assessment and decision-making skills in a birthing environment
n
- Flexibility and adaptability in a regional healthcare setting
n

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
n
- Current CPR and emergency resuscitation certification
n
