APC STORAGE TECHNOLOGY (PTY) LTD as part of APC GROUP is a leading national supplier of warehouse and office storage solutions. We specialize in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of a wide range of storage products including pallet racking and shelving.

The role is heavily focused on new business and developing relationships with potential key accounts in the warehouse workplace. This means working closely with customers to provide innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will be directly responsible for implementing a business plan to successfully grow our market share and increase revenue and profit. This role will be responsible to grow our existing customers and develop new business.

THE ROLE

n

- Develop sales plans to attract new clients and retain existing;
n
- Identify and qualify new business leads;
n
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners;
n
- Research business opportunities and viable income streams;
n
- Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities;
n




- Generate new leads by scheduling appointments and visiting potential clients/companies;
n
- Visit customer sites to identify replacement opportunities, co-ordinate with aftermarket and technical sales;
n
- Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition;
n
- Construct detailed tender responses and proposals;
n
- Identify and map business strengths and customer needs;
n
- Follow local and international industry trends;
n
- Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions;
n
- Follow a structured sales process;
n
- Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g., trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.

THE REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- A high level of people interaction and negotiating skills;
n
- Professional, positive, and diligent attitude;
n
- 2 -3 years' relevant experience in similar role or industry;
n
- Certificate IV in Sales and marketing (advantageous);
n
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite;
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
