Disability Support Worker - Coffs to Woolgoogla

Make a Difference with Nextt Nextt is looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team across Coffs Harbour to Woolgoolga.

n

You'll provide person-centred support to clients with their everyday needs, helping them maintain their independence, participate in their community and achieve their personal goals.

n

About the Role You'll support clients with a range of day-to-day activities, including community access, domestic tasks and personal care.
n Shifts are available between 8:00am and 6:00pm, with regular rostered hours and opportunities for additional shifts depending on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting clients with personal care and daily living activities
n
- Assisting with domestic tasks, meal preparation, cleaning and laundry
n
- Supporting community access, appointments, shopping and social activities
n
- Encouraging independence and participation in everyday activities
n
- Following individual support plans and providing person-centred care
n
- Building positive and respectful relationships with clients and their support networks
n

Skills & Experience Disability support experience is highly regarded, particularly experience with:

- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
n
- Behaviour Support
n
- Spinal Injury
n
- Personal care
n
- Community access and daily living support
n

n

What You'll Earn E3.1 Casual – In-Home and SIL
n SCHADS Award rates (before tax, including casual loading):

n

- Monday–Friday base: $36.81/hr
n
- Afternoon: $40.49/hr
n
- Active Night: $41.23/hr
n
- Saturday: $51.54/hr
n
- Sunday: $66.26/hr
n
- Public Holiday: $80.99/hr
n

You Will Need

- A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current First Aid and CPR
n
- Working with Children Check – Employee
n
