Job Description

I'm working with a growing Public Practice firm in Melbourne's South East looking to add a Bookkeeper to their larger, close-knit bookkeeping team.

You'll take ownership of your own portfolio of 20-30 clients - managing the relationships and handling the day-to-day bookkeeping. The work is varied, with no two clients exactly the same, in a busy, fast-paced environment where the team genuinely works well together.

The role:

- BAS preparation & lodgement
n
- Payroll
n
- Regular client communication
n
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
n
- Working closely with the wider team
n

What's on offer:

- $85k + super
n
- Predominantly office-based with flexibility to WFH ~1 day/week
n
- Open to part time hours for the right person
n

What they're looking for:

- Previous bookkeeping experience within Public Practice (essential)
n
- Strong payroll experience (essential)
n
- Someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work
n
- Employment Hero experience would be a big plus (not essential)

Given the collaborative nature of the team, regular office attendance is important - this isn't a fully remote role.
