Mr McCracken is seeking an experienced full-time Pizza Chef to take ownership of our busy pizza section at Essendon Fields.

Our pizzas are made using 100% sourdough, so the successful candidate must have genuine experience with dough production, fermentation and hand stretching. This is a high-volume venue, requiring someone who can maintain speed, consistency and quality throughout busy services. Oven is a Electric pizza master deck oven.

Key responsibilities
n
Prepare and manage 100% sourdough pizza dough
n
Monitor fermentation, proofing and dough quality
n
Hand stretch and shape pizzas consistently
n
Cook pizzas accurately during high-volume services
n
Take ownership of pizza-section preparation, service and pack-down
n
Maintain consistent portioning, presentation and cooking standards
n
Assist with ordering, stock rotation and waste control
n
Maintain excellent food-safety and kitchen-cleanliness standards
n
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
n
Support restaurant, function and event services as required
n
About you
n
Previous experience as a Pizza Chef
n
Confident hand stretching pizza dough
n
Proven ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
n
Strong organisation, timing and attention to detail
n
Calm, reliable and consistent under pressure
n
Able to maintain quality and speed during peak service periods
n
Positive and team-focused attitude
n
Available across weekdays, evenings and weekends
