As a Civil Pipelaying Ganger, you will be contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the Water & Wastewater Department by assisting Supervisors in the daily coordination of work teams and resources in the construction, maintenance and operation of water supply and sewerage infrastructure.

STATUS: Permanent, Full-time

n

HOURS of WORK: 76 hours per fortnight | 9-day fortnight

n

PAY LEVEL: $2,660.09 – $2,725.06 per fortnight (Level 5 - 6) + Construction Allowance ($80.90 per fortnight) + Leading Hand Allowance ($76.90 per fortnight). Plus 12% Superannuation and 17.5% Annual Leave Loading in accordance with Council's Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award. Pay rate dependant on relevant skills and experience.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Legal right to live and work in Australia
n
- A Class C (car) licence or greater is required for this role.
n
- An Occupational Health & Safety Construction Induction Card (White Card); or the ability to obtain.
n




- Immunisation record indicating Hepatitis A&B; vaccinations or immunity; or the ability to be vaccinated.
n
- Preparedness to work 24-hours on-call on a rotational basis, weekends and flexible schedule.
n
- Demonstrated experience as a team leader with the ability to coordinator staff to complete daily jobs.
n
- Experience in water and sewerage reticulated network construction.
