Labourer/Traffic Controller - (Day Shift Casual) - 4-Day Work Week

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn some new skills; who enjoys a friendly, fast paced work environment. This is a Casual Position (most likely be 38 hours per week, weather dependent) open for an immediate start.

This is Physically Demanding Work - we need fit robust people to operate heavy equipment and do manual handling of materials.

You must have a Current Manual Drivers Licence & Current Traffic Control/Traffic Management Ticket (no more than a year old)

n

Please confirm that you are fit and able to do physical work, including lifting heavy materials in bags and buckets (lifting up to 30kg at times)

Duties would include:

n

We work a 4-day week, Tuesday to Friday (9.5 hr days)

n

Driving work vehicles to job sites

n

Job preparation

n

Site set-up including basic traffic control

n

Line marking/painting works on Roads, Car Parks, Factories and Sports Facilities.

n

Application of line markings by hand, by push machine and by ride-on machines.

n

General maintenance works.

n

To apply you must have the following:

Valid MANUAL Australian Driver's License (must have)

n

Current Traffic Control/Traffic Management Ticket (must have)

n

Own transport to our Depotin Dandenong (must have)

n

Tax File Number and Permission to work in Australia (must have)

n

White Construction Card (must have)

n

Previous line marking experience is Highly favourable

n

You can attach your resume and references if you have them, but this is not a requirement.

Shifts are 9.5-10.5hrs long typically, this is a DAY SHIFT Position.

n

Day shift starts at 6am at our Depot in Dandenong, all travel to job sites and back to the factory is paid time in company vehicles.

n

Night & Weekend work is sometimes required at relevant penalty rates.

n

We have a Zero-tolerance policy on Drugs and Alcohol in the workplace.
