Mile End Bagels is on the hunt for a Dispatch Team Member (our behind-the-scenes legend) to join our team.

Our dispatch role keeps our business running smoothly every single day. Your work ensures our freshly baked bagels reach our four cafes safely + on time, and that our cafes are fully stocked and ready to have a great day!

We are offering a casual position, with potential to grow into a permanent one for the right candidate

Mile End Bagels – Melbourne

About the role;

- Dispatch – Packing, loading, and delivering daily orders from our central bakery+kitchen (Fitzroy) to our four store locations in our company van.
- Stock – Understanding FIFO (first in first out), conducting regular stocktakes, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Maintenance – Organising our storage facility, keeping stock areas tidy and effective,



and performing daily cleaning + maintenance tasks.
- Communication – Coordinating with cafe, bakery + kitchen managers to ensure everything flows seamlessly.

About You;

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

- Reliable and punctual – you understand that logistics is about timing.
- Physically capable – confident lifting, loading, and moving stock.
- Licensed to drive – a valid driver’s licence is a must.
- Clear communicator – able to coordinate with multiple people and teams.

Availability;

- Morning shifts: Mon-Thurs 5:30am: 12:30pm / Fri-Sun: 6:30am-1:00pm
- Afternoon/evening shifts: Fri-Sat: 3:30pm-8:00pm.

Weekend availability will be prioritised!
