About The Role

Reporting directly to the Residential Aged Care Manager (RACM), you will serve as Second-in-Command for the home. Drawing on your robust clinical expertise, you will oversee clinical governance, champion quality outcomes, and mentor the next generation of nursing and care staff.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Resident & Family Care: Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized, compassionate care.
n
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee clinical operations, stock management, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement of clinical care programs.
n
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and upskill nurses and care staff to maintain high standards of clinical practice.
n
- Operational & Financial Support: Assist the RACM with workforce planning and home budget management.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an ethical, forward-thinking clinical leader who thrives on empowering teams and driving clinical excellence.

- Qualifications: Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
n
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years of nursing management experience (at ward level or above).
n




- Industry Background: Demonstrated experience within the Australian Aged Care sector.
n
- Skills: Strong track record in clinical compliance, people management, and budget management.
