About the company/role:

- Major pharmaceutical company who manufacture personal care products

- Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
n
- Seeking an experienced QC Chemist to join their afternoon shift
n
- 3pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday
n
- Permanent, full-time opportunity
n

n

Duties:

n

n
- Sampling of raw materials when required
n
- Routine analysis of raw materials using basic wet chemistry techniques and small instrumentation
n
- Test and releasepackaging materials and artwork
n
- Liaising with Warehouse personnel in regards to raw material deliveries
n
- Analysis of intermediates and finished products when fully trained
n

n

Skills & experience:

n

n
- Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals or relateddiscipline
n
- Demonstrated industry experience within a GMP enviornment
n
- Understandingof chemistry techniques, including wet chemistry and analytical techniques
n
- HPLC experience within a GMP workplace ishighly regarded
n
- Excellent communication skills
n
- Good with time management and organisation
n
