About NTFS

Northern Territory Freight Services, as a division of K&S; Corporation, are a general freight carrier between Adelaide and NT destinations with both ambient and temperature-controlled capabilities and have a heritage of servicing the Territory spanning decades. Local operations in Alice Springs and Darwin also incorporate route work, meaning we are a fundamental part of the NT freight infrastructure.

About the role:

n

If you enjoy hands-on work, variety and being part of a team that keeps freight moving, this could be the role for you.

n

Approximately 80% of your time will be spent in yard operations, unloading containers and safely moving containers and freight using forklifts and Combi Lifts.

n

You'll also have the opportunity to get out on the road, completing local HR deliveries of general freight.

n

Reporting to the Operations Manager, no two days are the same. Enjoy a great mix of yard operations and local driving,



with the autonomy and satisfaction of getting the job done safely and efficiently.

You will bring:

n

n
- A valid HR licence
n
- Forklift licence and previous forklift operating experience
n
- Experience unloading containers and moving freight
n
- Combi Lift experience will be highly regarded
n
- Previous experience operating HR vehicles
n
- A strong commitment to safety, load restraint and fatigue management
n
- A clean driving history with no major infringements
n
- Punctuality, reliability and a responsible approach to your working day
n
- The ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
n
- Rail and port inductions will be highly regarded
n
