About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy transport warehouse based in Lytton, QLD. This role is ideal for a skilled operator with experience handling steel products, operating heavy forklifts, and using a range of forklift attachments.

n

You will be responsible for safely moving and storing steel products, unloading deliveries, and working within a fast-paced warehouse setting with tight aisles. Overtime is available and may be required to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Operate heavy forklifts safely and efficiently.
n
- Handle, unpack, and transport steel products.
n
- Load and unload trucks using the appropriate forklift attachments.
n
- Operate forklifts fitted with various attachments for different load types.
n
- Use RF scanners for inventory control and stock movements.
n




- Accurately move and store stock within the warehouse.
n
- Navigate tight warehouse aisles safely and efficiently.
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
n
- Work overtime when required.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
n
- Minimum 3years of forklift operating experience.
n
- Previous steel unpack or steel handling experience is essential.
n
- Experience operating heavy forklifts.
n
- Proven experience using various forklift attachments.
n
- Experience using RF scanning systems.
n
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
n
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
n
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
