About the Role





We're scaling up SolShare 2 manufacturing to meet growing customer demand in Australia and the UK. Join as our Procurement and Manufacturing Operations Manager, owning procurement, freight, cost control, and supplier performance end-to-end. You'll work closely with our contract manufacturer and Finance, Sales & Engineering teams to ensure materials arrive on time, costs stay on budget, and production is on schedule.

- Own the purchase order cycle for key manufacturing materials - raise orders, confirm with suppliers, track deliveries.
- Lead supply chain, procurement, and logistics end-to-end, including 3PL and freight management, supplier development and onboarding, procurement support for prototyping and production, and commercial negotiations.
- Track manufacturing cost of goods and purchase price variance and flag cost creep.
- Monitor contract manufacturer's delivery performance and be the point of escalation.
- Produce regular reporting on material status, cost, and volumes.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in operations, procurement, or supply chain including purchase order and vendor management.
- Confidence working with cost data including budgets and price variances.
- Supplier or vendor relationship management including contract/timeline adherence.
- Strong organisational skills and experience running trackers/reporting cadence.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Engineering.
- Transparent, proactive communication.

Nice to Have

- Manufacturing supply chain or hardware/electronics procurement experience.
- Freight, logistics or 3PL management.
- Experience with a fast-growing product or hardware company.

- Round 1: Online interview (15 min) - short conversation about your experience and interest.
- Round 2: Operational deep dive (1 hour) - in-person discussion on procurement, cost tracking, vendor management.
- Round 3: Values and team alignment (1.5 hours) - final conversation with hiring manager and wider team.
