We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant - Buys & Loans Operator to join our team at our Port Macquarie store in a Full-Time capacity. As a Buys & Loans Operator, you'll assess and value a diverse range of items, provide tailored lending and purchasing solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the Role

- Learn how to value items: Build knowledge across products by assessing condition, researching prices, and making informed decisions;
n
- More than just retail: Get involved in buying, lending and problem-solving-not just selling products;
n
- Use your negotiation skills every day: Create fair, win-win outcomes for both the customer and the business;

- Have real conversations with customers: Build trust and provide solutions through a respectful and understanding approach; and

- Collaborate with your team: Work closely with retail and leadership to align on pricing, stock and store performance.

About You

- Have an interest in Technology, Gaming,



Collectables, Jewellery or Tools and Hardware;
n
- Confident communicator, comfortable having open conversations with customers;
n
- You're a natural negotiator who can find common ground and turn tricky conversations into positive outcomes;

- You're curious and open to learning something new every day;

- Quick-thinking and adaptable, able to respond to different customer needs; and

- Trust-building mindset, treating every customer with respect and understanding.
