Contract Drafting Professional - Structural / Precast Projects

An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Drafting Professional to join a growing team delivering structural and precast projects across multidisciplinary environments.
n This contract role is ideal for someone who can step into active projects quickly, has strong technical drafting capabilities, excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable working within fast-paced project delivery environments.
n About the Contract Role The successful contractor will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality shop drawings and models while coordinating multiple design inputs and supporting project, procurement and production teams.
n Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing detailed shop drawings for structural and precast elements
n
- Managing drawing registers, revisions and document control
n
- Coordinating information from multiple drawing sources into consolidated deliverables
n
- Ensuring drawings comply with project specifications, drafting standards and quality requirements
n
- Liaising with engineers, project managers, consultants and production teams
n
- Supporting procurement, manufacturing and project delivery requirements
n
- Assisting with project workloads and deadlines throughout the contract period

Skills & Experience To be successful in this contract, you will ideally have:

- Proven drafting experience within structural, precast or construction-related environments
n
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
n
- Advanced Excel skills for schedules, data management and reporting
n
- Experience with PDF-based workflows and document control systems
n
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
n
- The ability to work independently, manage deadlines and adapt quickly to changing project priorities
n
