MULTIPLE PRODUCTION WORKERS / MACHINE OPERATORS NEEDED

Casual Production Workers / Machine Operators – Immediate Start

n

KCS is proudly Australian owned and operated. Located in Lilydale in up-to-date, clean manufacturing facilities, we specialise in custom plastic injection moulding and operate under an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System and are Sedex Certified.

n

Due to our busy upcoming Christmas production schedule, we are seeking to employ multiple Casual Production Workers / Machine Operators for an immediate start on day shift, with some overtime available.

n

Hours:
n Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:15pm
n Friday: 7:00am – 2:30pm

n

Applicants must have their own reliable transport and be available to work Monday to Friday.

n

Duties include:

n

n
- Operating plastic injection moulding machines
n
- Picking and packing plastic components
n
- Following quality procedures and work instructions
n
- Performing visual quality checks
n
- Labelling and packing cartons
n
- General production and assembly duties
n

n

Must Haves:

n

n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
n
- Ability to multitask, including operating multiple machines or completing assembly work while monitoring a machine
n
- Willingness to work as part of a team and achieve production, picking and packing KPIs
n




- Ability to follow instructions, procedures and safety requirements
n
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
n
- Availability to work Monday to Friday
n

No previous experience is required; however, previous manufacturing, production, machine operating or picking and packing experience will be highly regarded.

n

Please note that this is a physical role within a factory environment. Employees are required to wear hi-vis clothing and steel-cap safety footwear.

n

Previous experience using pallet/trolley jacks would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to successful candidates.

n

There is potential for ongoing casual work depending on production requirements and workload.

n
