Electron Hire Pty Ltd T/A Friends Tyre & Auto Centre is a trusted automotive service and repair workshop based in Cranbourne West, Victoria, specialising in mechanical servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and ongoing vehicle maintenance.

We provide quality automotive services to private and commercial vehicle owners across the local community. Our workshop services a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles, from routine maintenance through to mechanical fault diagnosis and repairs.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
n
- Diagnose faults in engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmissions, and electrical systems.
n
- Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools to identify and rectify vehicle issues.
n




- Repair or replace worn and defective vehicle components.
n
- Conduct safety inspections, testing, and road tests where required.
n
- Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation.
n
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and workshop procedures.
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
n
- 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic.
n
- Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
n
- Experience working with petrol and diesel vehicles.
n
- Positive problem-solving and time-management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
