The Role

n

As an Excavator Operator, you'll play an important role in delivering safe and productive mining operations.
n You'll operate large-scale excavators to efficiently load haul trucks while working to the mine plan and maintaining high standards of safety, productivity and equipment care.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Operating 120T+ excavators and D9+ dozers
n
- Loading haul trucks safely and efficiently
n
- Completing pre-starts and routine equipment inspections
n
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults
n
- Working closely with Supervisors and production crews
n
- Following mine plans,



site procedures and operational standards
n
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and equipment care
n
- Working safely to achieve daily production targets
n

What You'll Bring

n

We're looking for experienced operators with a proven background in open-cut production mining.
n You'll have:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience operating 120T+ excavators
n
- Experience operating D9+ dozers
n
- Proven open-cut mining experience
n
- Current RII competencies and/or verifiable operating history
n
- Strong knowledge of excavation and truck loading practices
n
- A strong commitment to safety
n
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
n
- Flexibility to work a 7/7 rotating day/night roster
n
