Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a motivated and professional Plant Operator Reticulation Maintenance to join our Condobolin Water & Sewer Team!

This full-time position's primary function is to perform a variety of duties from labouring to plant operation, typically related to the operation, maintenance, repair and installation of water and sewerage reticulation, pumping stations and reservoirs.

About You

- Medium Rigid Licence (or willing to obtain)
- Previous work related experience (or the willingness to learn)
- Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Confined Space Certificate and Asbestos Awareness Training (or willing to undertake training)
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What We Offer

Salary and Conditions

- Salary range:



$2,315.14 to $2,488.78 per fortnight
- Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Position classified at Grade 5 within Council's Salary Structure.
- Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
