We want Practice Nurse with the following qualifications and skills:

n

EN or RN with current AHPRA registration

n

Experience working in General Practice and Best Practice highly desirable

n

Assist with Health assessments, ECG and other assessments

n

Childhood immunisations

n

Wound care

n

Monitoring & maintaining stock levels

n

General administration duties, maintenance and sterilisation of equipment/instruments

n

possess high level of nursing skills to be able to work autonomously.

n

Strong work ethics and ability to deliver high standard of clinical care

n

be flexible to provide coverage for other team members

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

n

Friendly yet professional attitude

n

Responsible and reliable

n

Proactive and focused

n

Solid commitment, able to prioritise and have good time management.

n

Basic computer/ IT skills

n

What we're looking for

n

- Demonstrated experience in general practice or primary healthcare - you know the pace and you're ready for it
n
- Strong clinical skills across the scope listed above
n
- Clear communicator who works well in a large, multidisciplinary team
n
- Reliable and flexible - casual shifts require dependability when rostered
n

n

Experience with Best Practice software is an advantage, but not a dealbreaker for the right candidate.

- A genuinely diverse clinical workload - 3 GPs with wide-ranging backgrounds and special interests means real variety every shift

- In office allied health including Psychology, Physio and Dietician

- Open 5 days a week from 8.00 am

Casual position 2-3 days per week with possibilty of 4 days in near future must be able to cover annual and sick leave as well.
