About The Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Manager / Engineer to join our Constructions QLD team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will develop, implement and maintain a functional Traffic Management System, while overseeing the design, planning and implementation of traffic management activities to support successful project or tender delivery.

This role will see you working closely with design and construction teams to develop best for project outcomes across traffic staging, approvals, temporary works and safe systems of work.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Develop and implement traffic management plans, procedures and forms to support effective project delivery.
n
- ensure Traffic Guidance Schemes are developed in accordance with G10 requirements.
n
- manage ROL applications and approvals.
n
- ensure traffic management works are carried out to the highest safety standards.
n




- oversee safe systems of work for all traffic related activities.
n
- manage and develop the traffic team, building capability across direct reports.
n
- work closely with design and construction teams to support effective traffic staging.
n
- identify temporary works requirements and ensure compliance.
n
- ensure road safety audits are completed in line with project deed requirements.
n
- obtain approvals from relevant authorities within required timeframes to avoid construction delays.
n
- prepare monthly traffic performance reporting for the Construction Manager.
n
- build productive relationships with client representatives, Independent Verifier representatives and the wider project team.
n
- review traffic cost codes, complete forecast to completion reporting and highlight potential commercial risks
n
- coordinate traffic related activities with construction teams and support weekly, monthly and long-term programs.

About You

n

You will bring proven traffic management experience in a project delivery environment, with the ability to lead teams, manage approvals and contribute to safe, efficient construction outcomes. To be successful, you will have:

- prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan qualification.
n
- minimum five years' traffic management experience (Traffic Engineer or Manager level).
n
- minimum five years' experience on projects.
n
- strong leadership capability and a positive team approach.
n
- a flexible, cooperative and supportive working style.
n
- commercial awareness and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
n
- a goal-focused and determined approach to project delivery.
