The Department of Communities and Justice in NSW is seeking motivated individuals to become Correctional Officers at Bathurst and other centres. This hands-on role requires good judgement, explicit communication and teamwork to supervise inmates and ensure safety.

You will complete a 12-week paid training course and study for a nationally recognised Certificate III in Correctional Practice. The base salary includes allowances and 13% employer superannuation, with penalties for eligible shifts.
