ESP Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our client at their Campbellfield facility.

This is a hands‐on role within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment, primarily responsible for spray painting pipe, steel frame modules and fabricated components, along with assisting with general workshop duties when required.

This is a hands‐on role within a busy engineering and manufacturing environment, primarily responsible for spray painting pipe, steel frame modules and fabricated components, along with assisting with general workshop duties when required.

About the Role

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Industrial spray painting of steel pipes
n
- Preparing surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, masking and general preparation
n
- Mixing and preparing paints and coatings as required
n
- Applying coatings to achieve a consistent, high‐quality finish
n
- Inspecting completed work for quality and coverage
n




- Touch‐ups and rectification where required
n
- Moving materials and components around the workshop
n
- Assisting with general workshop and production duties when required
n
- Maintaining spray painting equipment and keeping the work area clean
n
- Following all workplace safety, PPE and quality procedures
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Previous industrial spray‐painting experience
n
- Experience painting steel, structural components or fabricated products highly regarded
n
- Good knowledge of surface preparation and spray‐painting techniques
n
- Solid attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
n
- Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment advantageous
n
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands‐on environment
n
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
n
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality
n
- LF Forklift Licence highly regarded, but not essential
n
