The Role

n

Associate Security Analyst (Watcher) – you'll be on the front line of our 24x7 Security Operations Centre, monitoring and triaging alerts from industry‐leading EDR and SIEM platforms. You'll collaborate with our Red Team, SOC Engineers and clients to fine‐tune detection capabilities and respond to emerging threats.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Monitor and triage security alerts from MDR technologies
n
- Investigate incidents using log analysis, malware analysis and OSINT
n
- Collaborate on Purple Teaming exercises to improve detection
n
- Research zero‐day vulnerabilities to stay ahead of the curve
n
- Work closely with senior analysts to support incident response
n

- Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Cisco, vendor‐specific)

Requirements

n

Essential

n

n
- 1+ year experience in systems, networking or security (MSP experience a plus)
n
- Solid understanding of Windows, Linux and Unix platforms
n
- Hands‐on with SIEM, EDR or VM tools
n
- Familiarity with the TDIR methodology and MITRE ATT&CK;
n
- Strong grasp of IT security controls, OSI model and TCP/IP stack
n

Desirable

n

n
- Curious mind and passion for cybersecurity
n
- Personal projects such as home labs or CTF participation
n
- Exposure to vulnerability assessments or penetration testing
n
- Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python
n
- Completed certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP
