Podiatry Practice Support and Administration

The Podiatry Practice Support & Administration position is responsible for providing productive, professional and patient-focused administrative and operational support within the private podiatry practice. The position plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice, supporting patients, podiatrists and practice management across reception, appointment management, patient administration, billing, correspondence, stock management and general practice operations.

Key responsibilities

n

Provide a warm, professional and welcoming experience for all patients and visitors

n

Act as an initial point of contact for patients attending or contacting the practice

n

Manage telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a timely and professional manner

n

Schedule, confirm, reschedule and cancel appointments

n

Manage clinician diaries and assist in maintaining efficient appointment utilisation

n

Ensure patients are appropriately checked in and checked out

n

Provide patients with accurate information regarding appointments, practice procedures, fees and general services

n





Maintain accurate and current patient demographic and administrative information

n

Process patient payments and issue receipts

n

Monitor stock levels of clinical, office and reception supplies

n

Support clinicians during consultation hours to provide high level patient care and clinic efficiency

n
